The head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergey Shoygu, is convinced that Russian MiG-29 fighters will be the guarantor of Serbia’s independence and security. Official Moscow handed six copies of military aircraft to Belgrade on the orders of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
«When you were in Moscow in August, I promised that the planes will be in Belgrade for this holiday. The planes are in Belgrade,» Shoygu stressed.
He also added that Russia and Serbia have big plans for military cooperation. The head of the Serbian Ministry of Defense, Alexander Vulin, thanked his colleague for the equipment.
«Thanks for this, we can say that today we have the opportunity to protect our sky,» said Vulin.
