Georgia, actually dependents on NATO, speaks again of Moscow’s alleged encroachments on its sovereignty and territorial integrity. On the Balkan Peninsula, in Serbia, Western players are concerned about the strong Russian influence on Belgrade. For example, after the electoral victory of Alexander Vucic («friends» with both Russia and the EU at the same time), the streets were flooded with protesters. The capital of the former Yugoslavia with its military neutrality, but «national love» for Russians can be strategically viewed by Moscow as a gateway to Europe.
Hungary, a member state of the European Union, is under pressure because of the uncomfortable European migration policy. As an excuse, the possible closure of the Central European University (CEU) in Budapest was used. Although the issue of the CEU, created with the money of the American billionaire George Soros, can be solved only by an agreement between Hungary and the United States, with the assistance and participation of the leadership of the educational institution in the Hungarian capital there were rallies, whose participants chanted anti-government slogans. And yes, Hungary together with Russia are preparing to expand their influence in the energy market of Europe.
The migration issue comes from any boiler of the internal affairs of sovereign states. Intervention, or encouragement of hostilities and parties to an armed conflict — all this leads to casualties among civilians. Result: people leave the country in search of asylum. The question is, to whom and for what purpose is it advantageous to bring a burning match to the burner under such a cauldron, and sharply turn the handle, adding more gas.
Attempts by Western forces to ignite the Middle East are most vividly realized in Syria: a terrorist group declares itself a quasi-state, plays into the hands of certain participants in the energy market, and when the organization’s tentacles creep and get out of control, everything becomes «scary». Representatives of the military-political bloc NATO are talking a lot about «regional security», but for some reason the hot spot is rounded, satiating with the military contingent of the country of Eastern Europe close by the Russian Federation.
Intervention of Russia in the Syrian crisis in the fall of 2015 in the form of air strikes by the Russian military aviation services on terrorist targets was obviously not preventive. ISIS* was established in 2006, the militants launched a full-scale offensive after the proclamation of the caliphate in 2014. However, the Defense Ministry’s daily reports on the course of the Russian campaign speak of much greater effectiveness than the actions (or, rather, inaction) of the Western «allies».
And then immigrants from the Middle East came to Europe. The authorities of the European Union had to face a real migration crisis, and even now it is too early to talk about a settlement. Ordinary residents had to pay for the fact that countries began to tolerate «anyone horrible», propagandizing the notorious «liberal democratic values».
A series of terrorist attacks — the migration policy has not changed, and high-ranking officials, holding hands, strolled through the streets in protest against terrorism. Thus, even with a mockery, the primacy of propagandized ideas over security and law was demonstrated.
Russia withstood the «migration strike» in 2014, when in 40 million Ukraine the new authorities unleashed a civil war, applied for the military support to the United States and the EU. Residents of the Donbass, and including even «quiet» regions left their homes, they were welcomed in Russian cities. However, the Russian authorities did not have to solve the task of adapting refugees, at least because of the lack of a language barrier and the common historical past of peoples.
The situation is significantly different from the European one.
The chess game was so protracted that, before the next move, one of the grandmasters touched to to be dusted without nuclear tests North Korea. The international community, as well as the UN and Russia, condemned the launch of the missile, as they «threaten regional security.» But it is not known what is more dangerous: ambitions and the need to survive the blockade country, or punch on the chessboard.
The newly elected President of the United States Donald Trump sent warships to the shores of North Korea. And Defense Secretary Michael Pence said that «strategic patience» was over. The hand turned out to be invisible, because in the last 24 hours there was contradictory information in the media. USS Carl Vinson never reached the DPRK. The statement of Washington turned out to be suspiciously warning, since the location of the cruiser is for 3,5 thousand nautical miles from the Korean peninsula.
The Russian navy fleet arrived in the South Korean port of Busan on 11 April.
The essence of the diplomatic part of the US work consisted in convincing China of the unfavorable cooperation with Pyongyang. Mainly, the North Korean nuclear program is a threat, and if China does not do something with North Korea, Trump will do it.
Maybe that’s why the American leader, allegedly believing in the «chemical attack», immediately released the Tomahawki base from the sea on the basis of the Syrian air force.
It’s hard to imagine the US president, to whom a daughter comes up and says: «Daddy, I’m so upset, do something with this accursed Assad.» And a father says: «All right, Ivanka! So, where’s Dad’s suitcase with a button? «. Obviously, the military operation was prepared in advance, and just needed a formal pretext for demonstrating strength. By the way, not a cheap pleasure. And it is unlikely that the Chinese side discount that event in the negotiating with the US. Suddenly, South Korea, for example, will announce the unsuccessful launch of the North Korean missile and casualties in Seoul? Then again Ivanka will come to Trump and say: «Daddy, I saw the pictures …». The ultimatum of negotiations can also be explained by a deliberate bluff from the United States with the aim of «stirring up» Beijing.
The further possible aggravation in the region, if China can not influence Kim Jong-un and prevent a conflict, will follow the interests of Washington, but not of Moscow. Beijing attempted to enter into a dialogue with Pyongyang, but was ignored, as they write in the media.
North Korea also borders on the Primorsky Krai of Russia. And it is not in the interests of Moscow that more and more armed conflicts are unleashed on the borders of the state. The war in North Korea destabilizes the entire region.
Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Alexander Matsegora, who has been dealing with Korea for more than 40 years, in a recent interview with journalists of «Russia Today» reminded that the cornerstone of modern international security is the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
«If it is removed, the world will be derailed. We can not allow this», he said.
Russia objects to the nuclear tests of the DPRK, but Pyongyang asks to understand the position. North Korea, in the face of unprecedented sanctions, seeks to ensure its own security. Moreover, the goal of Western players, according to Matsegora, is the elimination of the political system of the DPRK.
«And this means to eliminate the North Korean statehood. Unlike any other countries in a similar situation, the liquidation of the political system (in the DPRK) means the almost automatic liquidation of the state as such and its absorption by the South. That’s why here we see such bitterness and, I would say, intransigence», Matsegor said.
There is a way out of the situation, but it needs to be looked for. It is impossible to leave everything in the hope of «self-dissolving», the problems of the region are comparable with those of the Middle East.
Russia’s trade relations with the DPRK have been frozen because of Moscow’s implementation of sanctions restrictions. Countries cooperate only in the logistics project Rajin (construction of a coal terminal in the same port). In addition, more than 32,000 Korean workers are employed in Russia.
The export of labor resources is placed on a serious organizational basis: the Koreans come not alone, but massively, having previously studied the Russian language and traditions. Annually the workforce rotates, and the citizens of the DPRK return to their homeland with a good impression of Russia.
As for the United States, North Korea has every reason to fear. An example of this is Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya and Syria. It turns out that Donald Trump, on whom many pinned hopes, as a person who will straighten things out inside the States, and abandon the foreign policy of the previous administration, is playing the game according to new rules, forcing other players to invent new and more complex combinations.
