On Tuesday, the 6 of February, Russian leader Vladimir Putin signed a decree on conferring the title of Hero of the Russian Federation to Pilot Roman Filipov, who had died in Syria. The press service of the Kremlin reports.
The text of the executive order: “Roman Filipov is to be awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously) for heroism, courage and bravery displayed in performing military duty”.
