Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel called a dialogue with Russian leader Vladimir Putin without intermediaries important for the national security of the republic. He announced this today, July 11, before flying to Moscow.
«I really appreciate the excellent direct connection, without intermediaries, between myself and the Russian president. This is very important for the national security of the State of Israel,» Netanyahu said.
It is noted that during the talks the sides will touch upon such issues as the situation in Syria, Iran and Israel. Particular attention will be focused on security issues.
«Now I’m leaving for Moscow for a very important meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. We will discuss the needs of Syria, Iran and Israel in the field of security,» Netanyahu explained.
Let’s remind, on Wednesday, Putin will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It is planned to discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda, including the Palestinian-Israeli settlement and the situation in Syria.
