Voters in Ukraine would have given the presidential chair to the famous rocker Svyatoslav Vakarchuk. This is evidenced by the data of the International Association of Independent Research Agencies Gallup International, obtained on the basis of a survey of 500 Ukrainians, the holding company Romir said.
The respondents were asked: who would be the candidate for the presidency if they had to vote next Sunday. The leader of the rating was the famous rock musician, the leader of the group Okean Elzy Svyatoslav Vakarchuk: he scored 15% of the vote. Every tenth Ukrainian (11%) is ready to vote on the people’s deputy and leader of the party «For Life» Vadim Rabinovich. 7% of those polled are ready to cast their votes for Mikhail Saakashvili, the leader of the Rukh Novykh Syl party.
The current president Petr Poroshenko and the head of the All-Ukrainian Union Fatherland Yulia Tymoshenko received 5% of the vote. Anatoly Gritsenko, Dmitry Yarosh and Yuri Boyko scored 4%. 2% of the votes can be claimed by such candidates as Andrei Sadovy, Nadezhda Savchenko and Oleg Lyashko. 1% scored Yevgeny Murayev.
However, more than a quarter of citizens (28%) could not decide the choice. Another 7% in protest said that they will take away or spoil the ballot paper.
Respondents in Ukraine were also asked to name a candidate for whom they would not vote under any circumstances. The leader of the anti-rating was the president of the republic Petr Poroshenko — 27% of Ukrainians will refuse to support him.
79% of respondents noted that they are not satisfied with the current state of affairs in the country, and 75% of Ukrainians no longer believe in the promises of the head of state.
Vice-President of Gallup International Andrey Milekhin, commenting on the results of the poll, noted that in Ukraine the fatigue of citizens from politics and politicians is clearly visible.
