Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov announced today the creation of a database in which information on foreign terrorists will be collected.
Today, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov met with listeners of the Diplomatic Academy, during which the Russian politician reported that the FSB had created a database with information on foreign terrorists.
«In addition, our respective competent authorities are in very close contact on the bilateral line. One practical example is that our Federal Security Service has created a database that includes information about foreign terrorists,» Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
According to the politician, Moscow and Baku have long been cooperating in antiterrorist projects, which currently operate within the CIS.
«This is a very important sphere of struggle and prevention of terrorist crimes. All those who wish can use it, and the broader this base, the more different states it will participate in, the easier it will be to trace the routes of mobsters who can now come from the Middle East to Central Asia, then to Malaysia, » — said Sergey Lavrov.
