Fans who arrived in Russia for World Cup football matches will be able to return to the country by the end of 2018 without a special visa. A draft law on the relevant rules was introduced today in the State Duma by the leaders of the four factions together with Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
«The draft federal law is prepared on the basis of the positive experience of holding the 2018 FIFA World Cup and is aimed at extending the visa-free regime until December 31, 2018 for those who visited the Russian Federation as spectators of sports competitions on the basis of a fan’s passport,» it follows from the accompanying notes to the document.
